There was a hurricane in Halkidiki, which was unprecedented. Buildings were damaged and power and water were out for days, which at least means that you can stargaze. Knowing that the moon would set and the Milky Way would be visible, I took my camera and went down to the beach at around 3 am.

I took various shots of the Milky Way but realized that the photo needed a better subject. On an impulse, I decided to take my clothes off and provide the subject myself (thank god for the self-timer feature). This was the result.

In the photo, I tried to convey an image of Man, barely able to step out of the primordial soup for an instant, gazing up at the stars and wondering whether he'll ever reach any farther.
